Lauren's 1 Year Old!!

Lauren wasn't sure what to do with her cake at first but once she got a taste of the icing she went to town.

We had a whirlwind trip to Omaha to celebrate Lauren's 1st birthday. We flew up on Friday after returning home long enough to pack again from our trip out east. Our good friends RK & DK had a wonderful dinner prepared that night and we met their friends George & Bernie. Winds came up and we had to leave the plane in Omaha and bring Kusleika's jeep home instead. What would we do without you guys, we love you?

Celebrating 30 Years!

Terry & I decided that we'd go to the East Coast to celebrate 30 years of putting up with each other. We flew into Boston and enjoyed staying on the wharf, seeing the history, and of course the food and drinks. We then went down to the Cape and stayed at Inn on the Sound that overlooked Martha's Vineyard. Bicycling on MV, waking up to the oceanviews, and gourmet breakfasts by our host Howard & Janet made this a memorable experience.

We then headed up to Maine to stay on the coast at Black Point Inn and by this time being together 24/7 was starting to wear on both of us after not living together fulltime for several years. As you can see by the pic above I had my chance when Terry fell down the cliff but decided to take pity and save him.

The coast of Maine is beautiful and I'd highly recommend this Inn as the setting and history is wonderful. Just 15 minutes south of Portland we had access to great restaurants. We ate our share of lobster and seafood.

Labor Day Weekend

Not only were there clouds in the sky over the weekend but in our hearts for the loss of a dear friend of Rich & Debbie's that we were lucky enough to meet once in Omaha. This truly is a remembrance to reach out and let our loved ones know how much they mean to us.

Race Weekend

Alright Debbie K, what's there to say but it was one f---ed up weekend and we drank too much!!

Terry got a new hair transplant, what do you think? Oh, I forgot Debbie K, you can't post a comment on my blog. I guess I need to find a computer specialist to figure it out but I have no money like you!!

I still don't believe there was any alcohol in the jello shots as we all probably did 2o shots and we were still standing. Amy, try again!!

Jimmy John's Opening!!!!

It's been a year in the works and we're finally open!! I was there to ring up the first sale and it felt great.

My first flight with Terry since I was pregnant with Kyle which was 24 years ago. It was geat and I'm ready to go cross country with him!

Da Plane, Da Plane, Boss!!!

Terry & Rich just returned to Omaha from San Diego to pick up Terry's new airplane. Deb & I anxiously awaited their arrival and thanks to Deb we have these great pics.

Many thanks Rich & Debbie for the hospitality and joining in on the adventure of picking up the plane. Looking forward to setting down over wine and hearing the boy's stories.

I can't wait for our first adventure and have enjoyed my time in Omaha at Hotel Kusleika and getting to see Chad, Alecia, and Lauren.
